• Accurately enter orders into the system based on customer-issued purchase orders.
• Follow up on orders to guarantee their successful delivery within customer expectations.
• Oversee open order management, ensuring that open orders reach the customer promptly and correctly.
• Ensure that all invoicing activities occur in a timely and accurate manner.
• Take a proactive approach to resolving issues at both the customer and supplier levels.
• Familiarize yourself with the programs offered by our major vendor suppliers to source products at the most favorable prices for ePlus.
• Assist customers with return issues, order inquiries, and any other requests for information.
• Build successful relationships with sales representatives, vendors, and internal departments.
• Support the quoting process.
• Provide customers with additional opportunities such as warranty upgrades, service agreements, accessories, or supplies.
• Maintain proper decorum in all communications with both internal and external customers.
• Undertake projects and additional responsibilities as needed or assigned.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in sales or customer service.
• Understanding of computers, networking, and the IT industry as a whole.
• Excellent communication and phone skills are essential.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities is required.
• Must be a team player with a positive mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
