This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Victaulic’s entire product range and articulate how its solutions assist customers in completing projects efficiently and within budget.
• Attain proficiency in grooved mechanical pipe joining techniques and understand competitive methods like welding and flanging.
• Grasp construction cycles and pinpoint significant construction, expansion, and retrofit initiatives.
• Engage with local trade organizations and professional associations in the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager on business planning, opportunity analysis, sales objectives, product marketing, and sales tactics.
• Oversee project pursuits from initiation through design, specifications, drawings, bidding, job-site training, commissioning, and post-sale follow-up.
• Collect quotation details and guide inside sales, engineering, and support teams to fulfill customer requirements.
• Establish rapport with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners.
• Dedicate valuable time to customer interactions, including evenings and weekends for social engagements.
• Collaborate with distributors and maintain a well-balanced distribution network.
• Coordinate with Victaulic representatives and regional market experts.
• Recognize customer needs and inform them of the value of Victaulic products.
• Conduct on-site tool demonstrations and installation training sessions.
• Deliver informative lunch-and-learn presentations to engineers.
• Persuade decision-makers and effectively communicate product value to optimize sales opportunities.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior sales experience with “value-added” products/services is preferred, particularly in commercial construction, PVF (pipes, valves, fittings), or mechanical products.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays as required by the territory.
• Capability to work under adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to manage equipment weighing over 50 pounds.
• Proven track record of fostering and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

• Self-motivated and proactive; capable of working remotely with minimal oversight.
