• Collaborate with store owners, directors, and managers to enhance same-store sales.
• Provide education to retailers regarding AWG programs and their utilization.
• Execute departmental initiatives that support the Fresh Sales department in reaching budgeted sales goals.
• Aid in the development of new store layouts, resets, and promotional events.
• Establish and nurture working relationships with store owners, directors, and personnel through regular store visits to effectively function as a business partner.
• Partner with the procurement department and stores to orchestrate special sales events.
• Support stores in executing these events to boost same-store sales.
• Assist the Fresh Sales Manager in formulating departmental initiatives and a sales strategy to meet budgeted sales targets.
• Help stores with resets, remodels, tagging, and advertisement creation to ensure effective merchandising and market presence.
• Collaborate with customers facing challenges in department sales and/or profits to devise an improvement plan, along with training new employees.
• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 5 years of experience in retail Produce, Meat, Deli, or Bakery.
• Solid understanding of the retail industry.
• Strong expertise in Meat/Seafood, with some experience in Produce and/or Deli being advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
