This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Preparing technical specifications documents for doors and hardware.
• Serving as a reliable and knowledgeable resource for design professionals.
• Engineering and producing door and hardware specifications for commercial building applications.
• Suggesting door and hardware solutions that emphasize security, aesthetics, sustainability, and accessibility.
• Designing systems and products for electrified access control.
• Collaborating closely with Architectural Consultants to enhance customer experience.
• Supporting project submittal reviews and the substitution approval process.
• Utilizing Salesforce.com as a tool for customer relationship management.
• A college or university degree (preferably in a related field such as architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar).
• At least 2 – 3 years of relevant industry experience, including roles as a commercial locksmith, door frames/hardware installer, contractor’s license for installation, or CHD project manager in educational, healthcare, or institutional settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in using and maintaining CRM tools for sales and activity tracking.
• Familiarity with industry-related software is advantageous.
