This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Increase sales by supporting distributor representatives and driving business through our redistribution partners to their food service clients.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of our products and ensure that our distributor partner sales representatives are equipped to effectively position our offerings to their clientele.
• Familiarize yourself with Bunzl's targeted sales objectives.
• Collaborate with National/Regional account leadership to execute client-focused strategies at the local level.
• Organize weekly and monthly sales activities.
• Actively nurture and build key relationships with distributors and customers to unlock future growth opportunities.
• Promote preferred strategic vendor initiatives and work towards expanding market share.
• Develop strategic selling plans and structured sales call strategies.
• Reach out to End-User customers to secure orders and create new relationships.
• Showcase or demonstrate products using samples or catalogs, highlighting their saleable features to distributor representatives and end-user customers.
• Participate in all required customer and company meetings and events.
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience is highly desirable.
• Capability to effectively plan activities aimed at targeted sales opportunities alongside the account manager.
• Understanding and ability to implement Bunzl’s selling process to efficiently pre-qualify leads, set appointments, identify customer gaps, present solutions, address objections, and finalize and implement sales.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMs & CoPilot) and AS400.
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and demonstrates excellent follow-through and follow-up.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to operate effectively in dynamic situations involving change and/or competing demands.
• Proficient in managing all confidential and time-sensitive information.
• Ability to adhere to budget constraints on expenses.
• This role requires 25-50% travel within the assigned territory.
• Must currently possess (and be able to maintain) a valid U.S. Driver's License.
