This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Cultivate relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other vital industry partners to enhance market share.
• Support various sales channels, including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providers.
• Assist customers in understanding the distinctions between channels and guide them in selecting the appropriate solutions based on their business models and project requirements.
• Operate within a brand-agnostic environment, supporting a range of product lines and market routes.
• Aid customers throughout the sales process, including product education, onboarding, and continuous account development.
• Train customers on technology platforms, systems, and product offerings.
• Educate customers on metal building systems, product applications, and installation procedures.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across diverse customer segments and markets.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership to ensure customer success.
• Assist customers in navigating systems, processes, project coordination, and product selection.
• Support business development efforts aimed at increasing the adoption of light gauge steel building solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing issues and effectively managing customer expectations.
• Establish credibility with customers through effective communication, product expertise, responsiveness, and relationship management.
• Previous experience in metal building systems, metal roofing, wall panels, components, or related construction products is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to quickly connect with customers.
• Sales-driven personality with the confidence to engage customers and generate new business opportunities.
• Capability to understand and navigate various sales channels and customer types.
• Familiarity with reading construction drawings or experience within the construction industry is preferred.
• Ability to learn about technical products, systems, and software platforms.
• Strong customer focus with effective problem-solving skills and the ability to manage customer expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
• Over 3 years of customer-facing experience is preferred.
