This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Engages with individual stores or customer accounts within designated regions or based on customer type to cultivate relationships and maximize product sales.
• Introduces new products, provides pricing, credit terms, and delivery timelines, and prepares sales contracts along with sales reports.
• May ensure proper inventory management, merchandising, set-ups, and displays while overseeing trade funding.
• May reach out to prospects to foster business growth.
• Responsible for representing, merchandising, and selling a desired product mix in retail locations within assigned accounts.
• Accountable for creating sales presentations, contracts, and proposals for specific merchandising and store shelving initiatives.
• Manage trade sending for designated accounts for in-store merchandising, advertising, and executing category management strategies.
• Charged with achieving assigned sales and margin goals.
• Communicate all pricing notifications related to customers and brands.
• Implement assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to meet established objectives.
• Ensure all new product authorizations and core extensions are strategically placed on retail shelves with appropriate timing, space, facings, and targeted locations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Timely prepare information/project tracking reports as required by the company.
• Regularly and effectively communicate with supervisors regarding marketplace activities, challenges, and opportunities.
• BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1 year of relevant experience; Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred.
• Experience in sales planning and execution is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong negotiation skills are a must.
• Ability to effectively analyze and utilize multiple information sources to create customer-specific tactical plans and options.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrates initiative and persistence.
• Shows evidence of sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
