This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create and implement the Schilling sales strategy to expand the greater SoCal market.

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Sales to develop and execute Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Plans aimed at achieving annual market objectives.

• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key retailers.

• Represent Schilling Cider at festivals, demonstrations, and events within the designated territory.

• Enhance distribution while educating retailers, restaurateurs, and consumers about the Schilling Cider portfolio.

• Engage with the existing account base to secure new distribution, carry out promotional activities, and boost market share.

• Generate new business to enhance volume, distribution, and market share within the assigned area.

• Identify retail opportunities and effectively sell and execute against those opportunities.

• Ensure proper product merchandising and point-of-sale materials adhere to brand standards.

• Drive sales by maintaining and increasing shelf facings and product positioning.

• Organize events and promotions to heighten brand awareness and stimulate sales.

• Implement monthly Chain Account initiatives—closing authorization gaps, securing displays, merchandising shelves and backstock, providing POS support, and executing company programming.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with distributor partners regarding retail opportunities and authorizations.

• Develop and sustain strategic relationships with all distributor partners.

• Provide vital feedback to the Chain Account and Marketing teams regarding retail successes and challenges.

• Achieve sales targets in alignment with our CIDER Selling Process.

• Conduct General Sales Meetings with all distributor channel teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Passionate about craft cider with extensive knowledge of the local craft market.

• Possess strong sales, communication, and presentation skills.

• Willing to travel (by car) multiple times per month to the assigned territory and opportunity markets.

• Previous sales experience in the alcohol beverage sector is required.

• Must reside within the focus territory. Candidates should live in Ventura County or nearby areas that allow for efficient access to Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Hollywood, Santa Clarita, and the Central Coast territory. Candidates should be located within approximately 30 miles of Ventura, CA.

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

• Comfortable using mobile technology and the MS Office suite.

• Capable of handling and maneuvering 30lb cases and team lifting kegs.

• Availability to occasionally work evenings and weekends.

• Must effectively collaborate with colleagues and external partners.

• Regular and consistent in-person attendance is a job requirement.

• Lead by example, take initiative, and be approachable and outgoing.

• Engage actively in discussions around company culture and be an agent of change, positively impacting the workplace experience.

• Self-driven and motivated.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Be an energetic, organized, and motivated problem solver.

• Exemplify the company’s values while representing our brands.

• Nice to have: Pre-existing knowledge of Reyes Beverage Group’s systems, processes, and distributor relationships.
