This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Expand new business opportunities and develop existing ones to enhance profits for the branch or region.
• Foster relationships and communicate with customers through phone, email, or occasional in-person visits.
• Establish trust and rapport by building connections with potential customers.
• Exhibit product knowledge to address customer inquiries and provide solutions tailored to their needs.
• Finalize customer agreements through leads generated and telephone outreach.
• Enhance market share in both emerging and established markets.
• Partner with fellow sales team members, operations, and inventory center staff to deliver customer solutions and exceptional experiences.
• Conduct a significant volume of quality outbound calls aimed at building relationships and matching our offerings to customer requirements.
• Keep accurate records in the division’s database regarding customer quotes, specifications, and special requests; meet daily minimum entry targets.
• Cultivate relationships within various networking organizations or industry associations.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in outside sales.
• Demonstrated success in prospecting for new customers.
• Proven sales experience, ideally in both inside and outside roles.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of the sales process and its dynamics.
• Dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
• Exceptional communication skills; capable of expressing ideas clearly in verbal, email, and other written forms.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• High motivation and passion for sales.
• Proficient with various computer applications, including Microsoft Suite, Internet, and other customer databases.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with both customers and team members while maintaining attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to thrive in a process-oriented environment.
• Confident, assertive, quick-thinking, and capable of making decisions within set guidelines.
• Hourly base pay plus uncapped commissions.
