This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Identify, nurture, and secure new business opportunities to consistently surpass quarterly sales objectives.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of Aerospike’s offerings, value propositions, and the competitive landscape.

• Formulate and implement effective territory planning and account management strategies.

• Actively engage with targeted prospects and promote Aerospike solutions and customer success narratives to Development leaders and technical teams.

• Present persuasive presentations that leverage industry insights, market trends, and customer case studies to effectively convey Aerospike’s value.

• Qualify, document, and manage all opportunities within Salesforce (SFDC).

• Develop and implement sales strategies within a dynamic, small-team environment.

• Deliver exceptional customer service and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

• Contribute to the broader sales strategy while sharing best practices and success stories with colleagues.

• Attend and support regional events, meetups, and customer-facing engagements.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of field sales experience with quota responsibilities, particularly in database or data management software, SaaS, or both.

• Residing in the United States, with a strong preference for candidates located in Austin, the San Francisco/San Jose Bay Area, or New York.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong foundational knowledge of database technologies and data platforms.

• Proven capability to guide customers and prospects through the sales process using methodologies such as MEDDPICC and Customer Centric Selling.

• Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with senior leadership and C-level executives across Engineering, IT, and business sectors.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and disciplined team player who is comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

• Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales revenue targets.
