This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Surpasses sales goals within a designated territory by ensuring timely delivery of Acumed products and offering exceptional technical support in the operating room.
• Aids in evaluating the customer base to uncover new business prospects and implements a focused sales strategy for each recognized opportunity, ensuring that all leads are effectively pursued.
• Implements business strategies to discover and secure new business opportunities.
• Recognizes the requirements of potential clients and formulates/delivers suitable responses to fulfill or exceed those needs (through written communication, phone calls, and in-person meetings).
• Conducts field sales visits for designated accounts and territories, including "on-call" duties and consultations in the operating room.
• Delivers outstanding post-sale follow-up to accounts, managing communication regarding delivery schedules, conducting in-service training, and coordinating product restocking.
• Engages with both existing and prospective customer accounts on various subjects, including updates on products, modifications to Acumed’s product lineup, and educational medical programs.
• Promotes additional products and introduces new offerings to both current and prospective accounts as they become available.
• Enhances customer satisfaction and resolves issues by addressing any concerns or problems that arise with assigned accounts in a timely manner.
• Maintains customer records in line with Acumed standards utilizing the company’s CRM tool.
• Upholds compliance and the ethical standards outlined in the AdvaMed code of conduct by safeguarding the confidentiality of information, protecting organizational assets, acting with integrity, reporting any non-compliance, and adhering to relevant federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Receives training in sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Stays informed about the medical device industry, Acumed’s clientele, and competitive trends.
• Actively engages in and attends trade shows, sales meetings, promotional events, and professional association gatherings as required, both during and outside of standard business hours.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (preferably business or medical discipline) or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of proven successful sales experience (ideally in the medical device industry).
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with physicians and other surgical staff.
• Experience in establishing and nurturing relationships with surgeons and hospitals in the respective areas.
• Understanding of the principles and methods for marketing, promoting, and selling products or services, including sales strategies, product demonstrations, and sales management systems.
• Must be comfortable working in emergency and operating room settings.
• Must be able to acquire the necessary credentials for hospital access.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Credentialing Required: This role involves frequent visits/observations in surgery. The individual must obtain the credentials required by the hospital.
