This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Meet sales targets by expanding the current customer and product portfolio.
• Travel within the designated territory to secure orders from both existing and potential clients.
• Utilize CRM daily to organize schedules, log all activities, and assign follow-up tasks.
• Follow up on leads generated through Simco-Ion resources (such as website, trade shows, social media, email campaigns, etc.).
• Conduct technical and product training sessions; act as the primary technical liaison.
• Capable of introducing, explaining, and selling new products.
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals, subject to supervisor review.
• Execute sales calls remotely when necessary.
• Demonstrate technical aptitude and the ability to comprehend product design and intent across various industrial applications.
• Contribute to the customer-back innovation (CBI) process by identifying customer needs and sales opportunities for future growth.
• Ability to achieve results while working independently and remotely with minimal daily guidance and supervision.
• Address customer issues in alignment with ITW values.
• Travel is required: 80% or more (3-5 days per week); overnight stays as necessary.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• 2 - 5 years of relevant field sales experience.
• A valid and current Driver’s License.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Comfortable with reviewing and discussing CAD files and related drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
