This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Drive business expansion by generating leads, nurturing relationships, and prospecting within a substantial market that has potential for increased market share.
• Oversee key accounts, focusing on mid-sized and large clients, with opportunities to enhance revenue from existing customers.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry advancements.
• Acquire a deep understanding of the products or services offered to effectively address customer inquiries and demonstrate their value.
• Manage and sustain an existing account portfolio while increasing sales of additional value-added manufactured products.
• Employ problem-solving and a value-driven sales process aimed at acquiring and retaining customers.
• Monitor all sales activities, producing reports and analyzing sales data.
• Negotiate and finalize sales contracts and agreements to meet sales goals.
• Clearly communicate customer needs and requirements to all relevant departments within the company.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the industrial or chemical sector.
• Proven success in lead identification, prospecting, closing new projects, and presenting effectively.
• Established ability to cultivate and manage long-term customer relationships.
• High achievement orientation; motivated to excel and advance.
• Capable of managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong skills in consultation, negotiation, problem resolution, and interpersonal communication.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to comprehend new product lines and leverage that knowledge in customer presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Demonstrated skills in sales and territory management.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including overnight stays.
• Ability to conduct technical/mechanical on-site testing.
