This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the entire sales cycle.
• - Manage both self-generated and inbound leads from qualification to closure — no hand-holding and no excuses.
• - Consistently meet or surpass monthly and quarterly new business targets.
• - Develop and maintain a strong pipeline at 4× coverage, demonstrating the discipline to forecast accurately.
• Secure New Business.
• - Identify, qualify, and nurture new opportunities across targeted verticals through strategic outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, events).
• - Conduct impactful discovery calls and customized product demonstrations that directly align Mention Me's value proposition with a prospect's commercial goals.
• - Create persuasive business cases and ROI models that validate investment for CFOs and CMOs.
• - Navigate intricate, multi-stakeholder deals confidently — managing legal, procurement, and executive relationships simultaneously.
• Collaborate & Leverage Ecosystem.
• - Partner closely with our Partner and Alliances team to source and co-sell opportunities within the ecosystem.
• - Cultivate and sustain senior relationships with key agency and technology partners to establish a durable top-of-funnel pipeline.
• Operate with Commercial Discipline.
• - Uphold impeccable CRM practices (HubSpot) — logging every interaction, next step, and deal update on the same day.
• - Review personal performance weekly; identify trends, address weaknesses, and elevate your performance.
• - Provide competitive and market insights back to Product and Marketing to enhance Mention Me's competitive advantage.
• Raise Standards.
• - Share best practices, deal stories, and objection-handling strategies with colleagues proactively.
• - Coach and mentor junior sales team members as the function expands.
• - Contribute to the evolution of our sales processes — we expect senior contributors to enhance the system, not merely follow it.
• **Essential**
• - Over 3 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS or Martech — a proven track record of exceeding quotas year after year.
• - Demonstrated capability to manage a complex, multi-threaded sales cycle with deal values of £50k ARR and above.
• - Hunter mentality — you actively generate pipeline instead of waiting for it to come to you.
• - Self-motivated: you set your own standards, which surpass any quota expectations.
• - Exceptional commercial insight — you comprehend business models, financial levers, and how to rigorously position ROI.
• - Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, both written and spoken.
• - Disciplined in pipeline management and forecasting — you are aware of the status of every deal and the reasons behind it.
• **Desirable**
• - Experience selling to CMOs in e-commerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer brands.
• - Familiarity with the advocacy or customer acquisition ecosystem (referral, loyalty, paid media).
• - Comfortable working in a rapidly scaling environment where processes are still developing.
