• Respond to incoming inquiries, ensuring a 2-hour response time during business hours.
• Collaborate with the Market Sales Manager to compile a targeted list of accounts.
• Employ CRM tools to track leads throughout the sales process and apply La Colombe's methodology for lead qualification.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts consistent with the equipment lending model.
• Develop tailored proposals to convert qualified leads into new clients and secure business.
• Maintain the CRM system to communicate, monitor, and onboard new deals.
• Offer consultation on all facets of the coffee industry, including equipment, product selection, layout design, and general business insights.
• Effectively communicate and engage with various internal departments, such as client services, technical services, production, marketing, and retail.
• Collaborate with the Food Service and National Accounts teams to manage complex deals.
• Provide exceptional customer service at every stage of the customer journey with thorough, reliable, and timely responses.
• Maintain a professional communication style with client stakeholders at managerial, executive, and ownership levels.
• Anticipate and proactively address challenging situations, devising solutions for clients using La Colombe’s resources.
• Set a strong example for the Account Management team.
• Identify key stakeholders to advance deals and projects.
• Strong passion for coffee.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Hospitality, Business to Business Sales, or the coffee sector.
• Demonstrated success in your professional history.
• Excellent positive and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal abilities; capable of engaging with all levels of internal and external contacts.
• Must be a self-motivated individual, a quick learner, and open to constructive criticism.
• Capability to effectively manage multiple high-priority tasks while keeping management updated.
• Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends.
• Ability to assist in lifting, moving, and/or carrying coffee equipment as needed.
• Capacity to travel locally (up to 50 miles) and regionally (over 100 miles) with a travel breakdown of 70% local and 30% regional.
• Willingness to travel for up to 2-3 consecutive nights once or twice each month.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and vehicle.
• Ability to frequently work from the local La Colombe facility and visit existing and potential new clients in person.
