This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee and enhance Education & State Government sales initiatives
• Engage in consultative selling of VWR’s range of products and services
• Identify and secure new customer opportunities
• Manage the sales pipeline and present proposals to clients
• Create strategic business plans for the designated territory
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Implement sales and marketing strategies defined by the company
• Formulate retention strategies for existing clientele
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 3-5 years in a complex sales setting
• Experience in business-to-business sales
• Demonstrated record of measurable sales achievements
• Knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, Miller Heiman)
• Competence in technology platforms such as Salesforce.com and Qlikview
• Ability to travel to client sites for over 4 days a week
• Preferred: Background in Science or Medical Technology
