This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Surpass designated revenue and profit targets on a quarterly basis as well as against an annual benchmark.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers and vendors while identifying opportunities within assigned regions and entering new markets when necessary.
• Oversee and provide weekly updates on a pipeline of sales opportunities, quotes, and orders.
• Collaborate with customers to define requirements for future bids and contract quotations regarding the equipment and services offered by the company.
• Travel to client sites and participate in symposiums, conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions, as well as conduct vendor ride-alongs to foster sales opportunities.
• Actively gather competitive and customer intelligence: Relay market insights, opportunities, and risks to the organization.
• Offer price quotations and set appropriate credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
• Acquire knowledge and utilize internal CRM and ERP systems for the processing of quotes and orders.
• Support Inside Sales with data entry for generating customer quotes and assist in identifying optimal and available funding opportunities.
• Suggest products to customers based on their needs and preferences.
• Carry out administrative tasks, including report preparation, maintaining sales records, and submitting expense account reports in line with corporate timelines.
• Collaborate with professionals from potential customer organizations on product development, enhancements, modifications, or changes that could improve overall performance.
• Accurately process received quotes, whether in writing, electronically, or via phone.
• Formulate a marketing strategy to generate sales leads for new contacts within the existing territories.
• Employ a team approach that integrates inside and outside sales efforts for territory/customer strategy, vendor relations, and dealer management.
• Demonstrated work experience as a Sales Representative.
• Solid understanding of Government Sales and Federal Contracting.
• Experience collaborating with the Department of Defense, Military, Federal Agencies, and Law Enforcement.
• Capability to complete tasks within set deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in conducting effective negotiations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, if necessary.
