This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• You will identify, develop, facilitate, and secure new business opportunities within your designated accounts.
• Represent and sell the comprehensive range of Top Hat and approved partner products and services, including Top Hat’s digital textbook content and SaaS platform.
• Skillfully articulate and position Top Hat’s value proposition to professors or department leaders, utilizing a blend of inside and outside sales strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers and internal product and marketing teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience for professors while maximizing revenue growth.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales position, with a strong preference for experience selling to professors in person on campus.
• This role necessitates 40-50% (up to 75%) of your time spent traveling to campuses for in-person sales engagements. A valid Driver’s License is required.
• You possess strong sales abilities, including the capacity to identify, pursue, and finalize large and complex deals, effectively prospect, and manage the complete sales cycle (comprising cold calling, demos, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing).
• You are driven and possess a strong ambition to succeed.
• You have experience in a metrics-driven environment and maintain a positive attitude when encountering common objections.
• You demonstrate a robust ability to quickly interpret and apply feedback and coaching.
