This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Lead intricate, large-scale ad hoc and scheduled analytical projects from problem identification through to the delivery of insights.
• Recognize analytical opportunities, proactively highlight business questions, and suggest data-driven strategies.
• Utilize advanced analytical and statistical methods to assess trends, performance drivers, customer behavior, and business results.
• Convert complex analyses into clear, persuasive insights and recommendations for executive leaders.
• Serve as a strategic partner and intermediary between analytics, technology, and business teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to establish requirements, align on goals, and influence decision-making.
• Represent the analytics department in cross-functional discussions and presentations to management and senior leadership.
• Manage and prioritize multiple analytical projects concurrently, ensuring quality, precision, and timely delivery.
• Delegate tasks to junior analysts and offer guidance to achieve strong analytical results.
• Assist team leads and managers with the planning, prioritization, and execution of analytics tasks.
• Employ advanced querying, database, and analytical tools to extract, analyze, and verify large, complex datasets.
• Maintain data integrity, consistency, and proper usage throughout analyses.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of enterprise data environments, transactional systems, and the interconnections between data sources.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management effectively.
• Articulate analytical insights clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Impact decision-making by linking insights to business strategy, risks, and opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in analytics, business, economics, statistics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in conducting business or data analysis in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Proven ability to independently manage analytical projects and handle competing priorities.
• Advanced analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with statistical techniques such as regression, segmentation, and trend analysis (preferred).
• Ability to mentor or provide informal leadership to junior analysts (preferred).
• Strong business acumen with a knack for connecting data to strategy and operational results (preferred).
• Capability to work under pressure and adapt swiftly to changing priorities (preferred).
