This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• In the role of Sales Operations Analyst, you will enhance sales efficiency during a critical phase of our expansion.
• You will act as a liaison between the sales team and leadership—evaluating workflows, pinpointing bottlenecks, and creating processes that allow our team to operate swiftly without compromising on thoroughness.
• Sales Efficiency & Analytics: Engage with sales data to reveal trends, optimize pipeline flow, and identify areas of success. Develop dashboards and reports that convey essential insights for leadership action.
• KPI Tracking & Forecasting: Take ownership of our sales KPIs (pipeline health, win rates, deal velocity, quota attainment). Create effective forecasting models and adapt them as market conditions evolve.
• Sales Tool & Process Optimization: Review our sales technology stack (Salesforce, our CRM, outreach tools), identify deficiencies, advocate for new tools, and promote their usage by simplifying processes and creating user-friendly documentation.
• Workflow Bridging: Collaborate directly with account executives, sales leadership, and support functions (marketing, legal, finance) to streamline handoffs, minimize friction, and maintain deal momentum.
• Deal Desk Support: Work alongside the deal desk on pricing, structuring, and margin analysis. Assist sales in understanding which deals are beneficial and the significance of margins in a high-growth landscape.
• Forecasting & Planning: Partner with sales leadership to model capacity, territory planning, and resource distribution. Be prepared to assertively decline initiatives when necessary.
• Proficiency with data and comfort in uncertain situations. You can operate in SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.). You are willing to dive into messy data or create models from limited information.
• A strong curiosity about sales dynamics. You comprehend the sales process—pipeline, qualification, velocity, margin, and forecasting. You understand the importance of CRM adherence and can inspire sellers to value it as well.
• A proactive problem solver. You take ownership of results. You don’t wait for instructions on what to analyze; you identify issues, investigate them, and return with insights. You are adaptable and willing to revise when initial attempts do not succeed.
• Credible with both data and interpersonal interactions. You can present confidently and clearly to executives while also engaging with sellers to gain a true understanding of their workflows before redesigning them.
• Familiarity with financial/crypto contexts. While you don’t need to be an expert, having a foundational understanding of on/off-ramps, MSB compliance, stablecoins, or a genuine interest in learning is essential. Navigating complex deals in financial infrastructure requires domain knowledge.
• A strong inclination towards action. You will thrive in a startup environment where timely execution often trumps perfection. You can define a project, carry it out, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Preferred experience includes Salesforce, Slack API, or other SaaS automation tools. Background in financial services, compliance, or regulated sectors is advantageous, especially with an interest in crypto/stablecoins. Experience in a high-growth company where sales operations impacted unit economics is a plus.
• Healthcare Insurance: zerohash covers approximately 100% of employee premiums and a portion for spouses/children (U.S. only).
• Vision & Dental Insurance (U.S. only).
• Opportunity to earn equity.
• Maternity & Paternity leave (after 6 months).
• WeWork All Access Membership.
• Work From Home Yearly Stipend.
• Learning & Development Yearly Stipend (after 6 months).
