This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
β’ Take charge of the complete sales cycle throughout the Tri-State area.
β’ Utilize and enhance current relationships with district leaders, superintendents, principals, CTE directors, and procurement personnel to facilitate opportunities and expedite deals.
β’ Navigate the purchasing, budgeting, and procurement processes within complex urban districts, including funding sources like Title I, Perkins, and state CTE grants.
β’ Develop and oversee a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and managing all activities within Salesforce.
β’ Represent Transfr at district meetings, conferences, and on-site demonstrations as a trusted collaborator in career and technical education.
β’ Collaborate across functions with implementation, customer success, and marketing teams to guarantee customer success and renewal.
β’ Establish processes and a junior team.
β’ Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship. Actively participate in calls and review proposals to elevate a junior team, leading by example and showcasing what excellence looks like at every stage of the sales funnel.
β’ 7-10 years of experience in net new business SaaS sales.
β’ Comfortable traveling to customer locations (approximately 50% of the time).
β’ Proven ability to build and prospect your own sales pipeline with a proactive, hunter mentality, without relying solely on inbound leads.
β’ Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
β’ Proven capability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships with strong retention outcomes.
β’ Strong consultative sales experience with a background in managing complex sales cycles.
β’ Hands-on experience with Salesforce.
β’ Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
β’ Experience in mentoring and developing a team of sales professionals.
β’ Nice to have: Previous experience in EdTech, CTE, or workforce-development sales.
