
Sales Manager – Specialty Polyester Resins, Coatings & Adhesives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Oversee and enhance sales within the designated European territory.
• Build and nurture relationships with formulators in coatings, adhesives, and other specialty chemicals.
• Discover new clients, applications, and opportunities for market development.
• Handle key accounts, pricing strategies, negotiations, forecasting, and sales pipelines.
• Assist customers during product evaluations, formulation trials, and technical qualifications.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams, R&D, supply chain, and international commercial teams.
• Track competitor activities, regulatory changes, and evolving customer needs.
• Create commercial strategies for relevant applications, such as coil and can coatings, industrial adhesives, inks, flexible packaging, water-based systems, and hot-melt products.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and technical exhibitions.
• Provide consistent market intelligence, forecasts, and commercial reporting.
• Minimum of 10 years of pertinent B2B sales experience in coatings, adhesives, or closely related CASE markets.
• Solid commercial background in specialty chemicals, polymers, resins, binders, or formulation raw materials.
• Proven experience selling to manufacturers and formulators of coatings or adhesives.
• Demonstrated success in key account management, new business development, pricing, and commercial negotiations.
• Adequate technical knowledge to engage in discussions about resin performance, customer formulations, application testing, and product qualifications.
• Direct experience with saturated polyester resins, copolyesters, polyester polyols, or similar coating and adhesive resin portfolios is highly advantageous.
• Experience with products used in industrial coatings, coil or can coatings, inks, flexible packaging, polyurethane adhesives, or hot-melt applications is valuable.
• Capable of working independently within an international organization and managing customers with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
• Academic qualifications in chemistry, polymer science, materials science, or a related field would be beneficial, although relevant industry knowledge and a strong commercial track record are prioritized.
• Fully remote position available within Europe.
• High-autonomy commercial role with responsibility for key European customer and distributor relationships.
• Base salary anticipated in the range of €120,000 - €145,000, depending on experience.
• Performance-based bonus potential of up to 25% of annual base salary.
• 30 days of paid leave.
• Regular interactions with international customers, distributors, technical teams, and global headquarters.
