• Accountable for promoting solutions that facilitate the integration of increased renewable energy into the power grid.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Distribution System Operators (DSOs), regulators, utilities, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), and partners to influence planning and procurement processes.
• Capable of managing the entire range from business development in emerging markets to finalizing multi-million dollar contracts.
• Play a key role in achieving order targets for Power Conversion and Storage in North America within a strategic and expanding segment of the business.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A degree in electrical, electromechanical, or a related engineering discipline is highly preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in sales and/or business development within the technology, energy, or a related sector.
• Expertise in medium voltage power conversion technology, including but not limited to power electronics and electrical rotating machines.
• Strong customer-focused mindset, with the capability to transform customer requirements and challenges into lucrative business solutions.
• Strategic thinker who can convert business development obstacles into opportunities for growth.
• Self-motivated individual with a collaborative spirit and a consistent “can-do” attitude throughout the business cycle.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in multicultural and remote team settings, showcasing inclusive behaviors.
• Experience in functional or matrix leadership, with a capacity to lead through influence rather than direct authority.
