• Collaborating with and inspiring distribution partners
• Managing an existing territory valued at $2-3 million, currently shared with the sales manager
• Short to mid-term business potential estimated at $1-2 million within a 1-3 year timeframe
• Bachelor's Degree; a Technical Degree in Chemistry is highly preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in sales
• Experience in team-based selling, including sales, technical, or product management roles
• Required experience in the chemical industry; performance chemical experience is a plus
• Preferred product line experience includes: • Specialty additives for industrial and automotive markets • Defoamers/antifoams applicable to any use • Silicone release agents
• Must reside in the Midwest region, ideally in Michigan, Illinois, or neighboring states
• Willingness to travel 60% of the time, with 3 out of 5 days spent in the home office and up to two weeks of overnight travel per month
• A basic understanding of industrial and automotive market regulations and compliance is preferred
