This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Collaborate with various customer levels, both internal and external, to foster team growth.
• Present and propose pumping solutions to fabrication and end-user clients.
• Achieve or surpass the segment sales revenue targets set by the Business Line Director.
• Conduct sales calls to clients and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in your area.
• Engage with customer contacts across all levels, from C-suite to field personnel.
• Oversee project activities within the designated territory, including product offerings, and suggest pricing strategies based on Value Selling principles.
• Develop a sales strategy that aligns with company policies and objectives to enhance your territory.
• Record sales call and lead management information using relevant tools such as CRM.
• Offer technical consultation to clients regarding product solutions.
• Educate fabrication partners on our value proposition and product features.
• Formulate and execute strategies to outpace competitors in new and existing targeted accounts.
• Cultivate extensive and robust relationships with all stakeholders within our customer organizations.
• Provide the company with innovative product ideas, insights on market trends, territory market intelligence, sales growth strategies, and competitor analysis.
• Engage in New Product Development and Marketing activities as needed.
• Demonstrate ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate closely with other IDEX business units, the IDEX Strategic Account Management team, Customer Support Center (CSC), Applications and Product Engineering, Warranty & Repair, Information Systems, and Accounting.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline, or 5 years of experience in industrial field sales or product management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with CRM systems or similar customer management tools.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and personnel at all corporate levels.
