
Sales Manager – Critical Power, UPS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Identify, prospect, and cultivate new revenue streams within the Critical Power/UPS sector.
• Establish and nurture relationships with potential customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage the complete sales process, including prospecting, proposal creation, customer presentations, negotiations, and contract finalization.
• Collaborate with internal teams to formulate pricing strategies, service solutions, and quotation documentation.
• Supervise the creation of RFP responses, proposals, bids, quotations, presentations, and other sales materials directed at customers.
• Analyze customer needs and align Pearce services and capabilities to provide effective solutions.
• Evaluate, document, and communicate contractual, technical, and commercial requirements internally to aid in bid strategy development.
• Prepare and present high-quality presentations and marketing materials that effectively convey Pearce’s value proposition.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to acquire new business and foster revenue growth.
• Assist in strategic sales planning efforts aimed at expanding the customer base and enhancing market share.
• Engage in industry conferences, networking events, and customer interaction activities to boost brand visibility and business development initiatives.
• Work collaboratively across functions with operations, finance, and technical teams to ensure customer expectations and project specifications are met.
• Over 5 years of demonstrated success in sales, business development, or account management, ideally in Critical Power, UPS, electrical infrastructure, telecom, HVAC, generator services, or similar technical fields.
• A proven history of generating new business and driving revenue expansion.
• Experience in developing and presenting RFP responses, proposals, quotations, and sales materials for customers.
• Strong capability to articulate company value propositions clearly and effectively through written, verbal, and presentation communication.
• Proven success working in cross-functional and multi-division environments while collaborating with executives, mid-level management, and subject matter experts.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to guide opportunities to successful contract closure.
• Capability to interpret customer requirements and craft customized service solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Self-driven, engaging, and proactive professional with robust organizational and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable functioning in both leadership and collaborative team settings.
• Proficient in working effectively in a remote environment across different time zones.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, proposal development tools, and sales reporting platforms is preferred.
