This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing commercial team dedicated to customer success and profitable growth.
• Develop and implement sales strategies that align with long-term business goals and facilitate market expansion.
• Enhance key customer relationships and establish partnerships at the executive level.
• Drive pricing strategies that balance value creation with profitability and sustainable growth.
• Spearhead new business development initiatives and broaden existing customer opportunities.
• Create and uphold a robust commercial pipeline and strategic account plans.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and Reliability teams.
• Leverage market intelligence and customer insights to uncover growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
• Evaluate commercial and financial performance to enhance revenue, margin, and overall business outcomes.
• Assist in annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic business initiatives.
• Advocate for continuous improvement and commercial excellence.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
• Proven experience in leading commercial sales efforts within corrugated packaging, packaging, converting, printing, industrial manufacturing, or similar B2B markets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop sales or commercial teams.
• Proficient in managing pricing, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance.
• Experience in negotiating customer agreements and overseeing strategic customer relationships.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Background in leading a commercial organization within an integrated corrugated manufacturing environment.
• Experience in managing business performance through P&L ownership or financial accountability.
• Proven track record in leading organizational change or commercial transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing national or regional strategic accounts.
• Familiarity with value-based pricing methodologies.
• Understanding of corrugator and converting manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Principle Based Management™ or similar market-based management philosophies.
• Candidates should either reside within or be willing to relocate to within 50 miles of La Mirada, California.
• An MBA or advanced business degree is preferred but not mandatory.
