This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Direct the sales initiatives required to expand relationships with current hyperscale clients and secure new accounts.
• Discover and chase new sales prospects in developing sectors.
• Establish and maintain enduring partnerships with key decision-makers.
• Formulate and implement a customized sales strategy.
• Capitalize on market shifts away from major hyperscale providers.
• Collaborate with internal Product and Business Development teams.
• Lead intricate negotiations and oversee sales cycles.
• Work in close coordination with marketing, product, and technical teams.
• Provide accurate forecasts of sales activities and potential opportunities.
• At least 8+ years of experience in sales or business development.
• Demonstrated success in selling optical networking equipment.
• Familiarity with L2 and L3 product applications.
• Knowledge of data centers.
• Strong grasp of the hyperscale, cloud services, and data center sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of AI computing, edge computing, and disaggregated data center architectures.
• Exceptional skill in identifying, pursuing, and finalizing new business opportunities.
• Experience managing lengthy sales cycles and intricate sales processes.
• Thorough knowledge of optical networking solutions, AI-driven computing infrastructures, and edge networking technologies.
