This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee and enhance our Account Executive team, including conducting pipeline reviews, providing deal coaching, ensuring follow-up accountability, and fostering proactive performance development.
• Collaborate daily with our Sales & Marketing Operations Manager to guide outreach priorities, execute campaigns, and manage marketing activities.
• Lead and prioritize the responsibilities of our external BDR.
• Maintain CRM integrity and pipeline visibility, ensuring that every active deal, carrier relationship, and outreach correspondence is thoroughly documented and progressing effectively.
• Participate in carrier and broker discussions alongside the CEO, developing a strong understanding of our relationship-based sales approach.
• Gradually cultivate your own connections with carrier sales representatives and regional sales managers across our carrier network.
• Act as the primary escalation point for the sales team on a daily basis.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales position within employee benefits, group insurance, HR technology, benefits administration, or a closely related field.
• Formal sales training and proven closing experience — you have managed a quota, successfully overseen a pipeline, and secured complex deals through relationship-building rather than merely taking orders.
• At least 5 years of experience leading and coaching other sales professionals, with a proven history of enhancing the skills of those around you.
• Outstanding organizational skills; you are naturally inclined to establish systems and ensure that no follow-up tasks are overlooked.
• Innate ability to build relationships, understanding that our business relies on trust rather than transactional sales.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Ambler, PA to collaborate with our CEO, particularly during the initial months of the role. Expectation of approximately 25% travel.
