This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Accountable for all sales-related activities pertaining to Water & Power opportunities.
• Cultivates and sustains relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners.
• Efficiently oversees local channel partners (Manufacturer’s Representatives and Distributors) to enhance their performance.
• Tracks and actively seeks project sales, as well as service and aftermarket sales among existing clients.
• Acts as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, while also collaborating with the company’s Factory Service Group.
• Provides comprehensive reporting through Rotork Customer Engagement (CRM) to ensure that sales activity data is documented and shared as necessary.
• Stays updated on competitive positioning and the strategies of competitors.
• Collaborates with the Manager and other Area Sales Managers to formulate a sales strategy that aligns with the Company’s objectives.
• Responsible for delivering regular business forecasts for all products and services.
• Compiles monthly sales reports alongside the regional sales manager to facilitate accurate business projections.
• Demonstrated capability to coordinate sales of products and services across capital projects, resellers, and end users.
• Experience in managing and supporting a network of channel partners.
• Engineering or a related technical degree, preferably with a background in electrical systems.
• Understanding of valves and actuators, with experience in engineered industrial automation or process equipment sales.
• Familiarity with the municipal market is a significant advantage.
