This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Surpass Sales Targets: Consistently achieve and exceed sales objectives across all revenue channels for your designated brand portfolio.
• Foster New Partnerships: Actively engage with promising prospects identified by the Business and Market Development teams while confidently sourcing high-value leads independently.
• Enhance Client Relationships: Cultivate customer loyalty and strategically drive larger, mutually beneficial agreements.
• Succeed with Insight: Nurture qualified leads, understand clients’ requirements, and demonstrate how Emerald brands can facilitate their success.
• Present customized proposals and confidently finalize contracts.
• Optimize Client Impact: Work closely with the Customer Success team to identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, enhancing client returns and promoting company growth.
• Influence Strategy: Provide valuable insights to the Sales Manager and collaborate with development teams to discover exciting, untapped lead sources.
• Broaden Your Influence: Establish connections within client organizations to enhance account value and generate new partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate with Retailers: Partner with the Buyer Relations team to ensure that exhibitor needs align with ideal retail attendees.
• Lead the Market: Become an expert in Emerald products and the industry, equipping your clients with the best insights and services available.
• Track Progress: Monitor growth and performance with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring ongoing advancement through internal sales tracking systems.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated, high-performing sales and business development experience.
• Experience in trade show sales or a relevant industry background is preferred.
• Strong closing abilities are essential.
• Highly self-motivated and driven to exceed sales development objectives.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Innovative approach to sales with the capacity to resolve challenging problems swiftly.
• Proficient in computer skills, including all Microsoft Office applications.
• Practical experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms is required.
• Highly organized and resilient.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to secure deals and represent the brand.
