Sales Manager – Analytical Services, Dairy & Infant Nutrition

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and enhance relationships with new and existing clients in the dairy industry and infant nutrition sector.

• Develop and refine technical and content-based proposals.

• Negotiate contractual terms and framework agreements.

• Oversee intricate projects in partnership with clients and internal specialist departments.

• Collaborate closely with customer-facing teams across various operational units throughout Germany.

• Actively participate in sales and revenue planning activities.

• Maintain master data and document activities in the CRM system.

• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives.

• Represent the company at trade fairs and technical conferences.


⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in dairy science and technology, a natural sciences degree (such as food chemistry, food technology, or nutritional science), or an equivalent qualification.

• Required: industry experience in dairy and/or infant nutrition.

• Professional experience in sales or a strong inclination towards sales.

• Comprehensive knowledge of food analysis, including chemistry and microbiology.

• Strong business administration skills and experience in a metrics-driven setting.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with a strong customer focus.

• Business-fluent German (minimum C1 level).

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Skilled in MS Office 365 applications.

• Willingness to travel for business both nationally and internationally.

• High level of self-organization and discipline for independent work from a home office.

• Exceptional organizational skills and high self-motivation.
