This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the design and continuous enhancement of sales incentive programs, ensuring they align with the company's goals and promote desired seller behaviors.
• Create plan elements including metrics, weights, thresholds, accelerators, payout structures, and special incentives.
• Assess proposed modifications to plans through scenario modeling and business impact evaluations prior to rollout.
• Review the effectiveness of plans by analyzing seller behavior, attainment distribution, pay-for-performance correlation, and return on investment for incentive expenditures.
• Offer insights and recommendations to leadership based on trends in plan performance and overall business results.
• Oversee the annual incentive planning cycle and assist with updates to plans throughout the year as business requirements change.
• Convert business strategies into actionable and sustainable compensation plans that can be supported by current systems, data, and processes.
• Keep plan documentation, policy guidelines, governance standards, and exception management processes up to date to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to guarantee the accurate and timely implementation and operational execution of sales incentive plans.
• Establish stringent governance over source data, plan regulations, exception management, policy interpretation, and audit preparedness.
• Create dashboards on Xactly and PowerBI, provide regular reporting, and prepare executive-level materials regarding plan performance, commission expenses, attainment, and incentive results.
• Effectively communicate plan designs, modifications, and policy interpretations to Sales, Finance, HR, and business leadership.
• Act as a reliable subject matter expert in the areas of sales incentive plan design, governance, and administration.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Finance, and HR teams to ensure alignment of incentive plans with the company's strategic objectives and operational realities.
• Enhance processes, controls, workflows, and system capabilities to boost efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
• Perform market benchmarking and external research to maintain the competitiveness of plans and ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, HR, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in sales compensation is advantageous (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional (CCP®), Aon Certified Sales Compensation Expert, AIHR Sales Compensation Certificate).
• 5–8+ years of experience in sales compensation, incentive compensation, revenue operations, finance, or sales operations with direct involvement in the design and/or administration of incentive plans.
• Proficiency with incentive compensation platforms and related reporting/planning tools such as Salesforce and Xactly.
• Solid experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Proven capability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
