📋 Description

• Spearhead business development within the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and value-based care sector, primarily focusing on acquiring and securing new clients. Oversee the entire sales process from initial outreach to contract signing, encompassing discovery, needs assessment, solution positioning, proposal crafting, and negotiation.

• Identify, prioritize, and proactively engage ACOs and risk-bearing provider groups through targeted outbound efforts, referrals, and industry participation. Represent the company at conferences and networking events to generate leads and enhance market presence within the ACO ecosystem.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key executive stakeholders (e.g., population health leaders, CFOs, clinical leadership) to foster deal momentum and successfully close intricate, multi-stakeholder sales.

• Exhibit and uphold a thorough understanding of ACO REACH, MSSP, and commercial ACO models, including insights into attribution mechanics, shared savings, and quality scoring. Develop a comprehensive grasp of ACO business models and customize value propositions to effectively communicate ROI and impact on clinical, operational, and financial performance.

• Collaborate with Product, Clinical, Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams to design solutions that fulfill the needs of prospective ACO clients and bolster targeted outbound strategies.

• Ensure accurate pipeline data and activity tracking within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to aid in forecasting and performance reporting. Remain knowledgeable about industry trends, regulatory developments, and the competitive landscape in value-based care.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of quota-carrying sales experience, with a strong focus on new business (hunter) sales, and a proven history of generating pipeline and closing new business, preferably within healthcare or value-based care settings.

• Proven success in selling solutions related to total cost of care, care management, risk adjustment, or quality improvement. Experience in selling to ACOs, MSOs, health systems, or other risk-bearing entities is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with ACO conveners, enablement platforms, or delegated-risk MSOs (e.g., Aledade, Privia, agilon, Wellvana, Vytalize, Pearl, etc.). Ability to map and segment the national ACO landscape, identifying high-value targets within REACH, MSSP, and delegated-risk MSOs.

• Strong outbound prospecting capabilities and the ability to work independently in developing a territory. Experience maneuvering through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

• Capacity to leverage existing executive relationships with ACO CEOs, CMOs, CFOs, and VBC contracting teams to enhance access and reduce sales cycles.

• Proficient in CRM tools such as Salesforce. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with value-based care models, population health, and healthcare economics is advantageous.
