This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Oversee the Central South Region territory, which includes Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
• Identify and engage potential K12 clients, encompassing public, private, charter, and parochial institutions.
• Qualify and transform inbound leads into pipeline opportunities.
• Manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
• Ensure precise Salesforce records and timely follow-ups.
• Build a robust pipeline through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, and digital platforms.
• Cultivate enduring relationships with superintendents, school safety leaders, and key stakeholders.
• Represent CENTEGIX at conferences, trade shows, and educational events.
• Showcase CENTEGIX product advantages and value propositions to decision-makers.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams, technical support, sales colleagues, and strategic partners.
• Share insights and trends from the field market with the broader sales team.
• 3 to 5 years of sales experience with a proven history of meeting or surpassing quotas.
• Preferably experienced in SaaS, technology, or education sales.
• Strong preference for experience in selling to K12 districts, the public sector, or similar multi-stakeholder buyers.
• Ability to navigate extended sales cycles involving committee-based decisions.
• Demonstrated full-cycle sales capabilities from cold prospecting and lead generation to presentation, negotiation, and closing.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing decision-makers from school boards to superintendents.
• Must reside within the Central Region territory: Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, or Louisiana, ideally near a major airport.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region, including regular overnight travel of up to 25% for customer meetings, conferences, and tradeshows.
• Self-motivated and disciplined while operating from a remote home office.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large geographic territory independently.
• Experience with CRM software; Salesforce is preferred.
• Capability to manage the pipeline, provide accurate forecasts, and maintain organized records.
