
Sales Executive – Business Aviation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and enhance an established portfolio of business aviation accounts.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the business aviation sector.
• Increase customer utilization of World Fuel's products, services, technology, and fuel programs.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at boosting fuel volume, revenue, and customer loyalty.
• Handle the complete sales cycle from prospecting and relationship building to contract finalization and ongoing account expansion.
• Establish trusted relationships with aircraft operators, flight departments, and aviation industry professionals.
• Act as a strategic partner by comprehending operational needs and proposing effective solutions.
• Interact with key decision-makers, including Directors of Aviation, Chief Pilots, Pilots, Schedulers, Dispatchers, and Flight Operations staff.
• Conduct customer meetings, business reviews, and account planning discussions.
• Provide an outstanding customer experience that fosters long-term loyalty and retention.
• Evaluate customer opportunities, market conditions, and industry trends to facilitate business growth.
• Formulate pricing recommendations and negotiate commercial agreements that align with company goals.
• Identify avenues to enhance customer value while optimizing account profitability.
• Assist with contract renewals, account retention, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
• Maintain precise pipeline activity, forecasts, and customer records within CRM systems.
• Travel as necessary to support customers, engage in business development activities, attend industry events, and participate in team meetings.
• 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing commercial roles.
• Proven track record of developing new business while nurturing and retaining existing customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Demonstrated success in managing customer accounts and meeting sales targets.
• Capacity to build credibility and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Experience in business aviation, aviation fuel, FBO operations, flight operations, aviation services, or a related field (preferred).
• Understanding of aircraft operations and flight department environments (preferred).
• Knowledge of aviation fuel programs, trip support services, or aviation-related commercial solutions (preferred).
• Experience in negotiating commercial agreements and pricing structures (preferred).
