This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Generate sales leads
• Prepare pricing estimates for projects and deliver written proposals to clients
• Pre-qualify potential clients through relevant questions to determine budget, timelines, and compatibility; prepare quotations and schedule site installation meetings as necessary
• Manage client expectations by communicating company processes, policies, and timelines
• Keep clients informed of business changes such as product offerings, pricing, or assembly options
• Utilize CRM to track Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts, along with timelines
• Participate in various departmental and interdepartmental meetings and training sessions as needed
• Attend industry shows, conferences, events, etc., as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction/building materials industry
• Strong business and sales acumen, with exceptional business communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• A solid understanding of the metals industry is a significant advantage, particularly in powder coating and aluminum extrusions
• High-energy, detail-oriented, results-driven, and self-motivated
• Excellent planning, coordination, and scheduling abilities
• Dependability, integrity, enthusiasm, and strong in-person presentation skills with a proven ability to build relationships and close deals
• Outstanding, industry-leading customer service skills, with a track record of exceeding client expectations and identifying the best products to meet client needs
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required
• Must be adaptable with work hours.
