This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop new business opportunities from scratch for payer technology services.
• Take ownership of new services revenue and manage deals from initial outreach to signed contracts.
• Establish a qualified sales pipeline within the first six months, assessed through live meetings and proposals submitted.
• Conduct full-cycle sales activities, which include prospecting, lead generation, discovery, crafting value propositions, writing proposals, negotiating pricing, and closing deals.
• Involve delivery leaders and subject matter experts at the appropriate stages of the sales process.
• Independently manage the proposal process.
• Pursue both tactical engagements with shorter sales cycles and fixed-price projects with longer sales cycles.
• Start outreach, make calls, and schedule meetings from day one in the role.
• Reactivate existing payer relationships and identify new client opportunities.
• A minimum of five years in a closing sales position, overseeing the entire process.
• Experience in selling technology services, consulting, or professional staffing to health plans, particularly on the payer side.
• A demonstrated track record of success in selling to health plans.
• A verifiable history of meeting or exceeding quota, including both targets and actual achievements.
• Established payer relationships developed over several years that can be reactivated.
• Proficiency in claims operations and systems work.
• Familiarity with key claims platforms and conversion processes is a significant advantage.
• Capability to independently write proposals.
• Ability to independently create value propositions.
• A hunter mentality with a willingness to engage in outbound prospecting.
• Understanding of health plan requirements, decision-makers, and potential obstacles.
• Strong executive presence when interacting with clients at conferences, site visits, and in boardroom discussions.
• Competence in direct communication, advancing opportunities, and closing deals.
• Resilience in navigating challenging service sales cycles.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
• Approximately 10% travel required.
