This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Develop and nurture customer relationships to assess current and future needs while generating sales leads.
• Discover new market opportunities, product lines, and related services; garner organizational backing for feasible initiatives.
• Prepare and present technical and engineering sales demonstrations; showcase product functionalities.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms; finalize orders to achieve sales targets and quotas.
• Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill customer purchase and service needs.
• Conduct pre- and post-installation workshops; work alongside field service to address installation challenges.
• Keep track of competitive movements and market trends; establish product positioning and competitive advantages.
• Develop and implement regional territory strategies with focused outreach to current and potential customers.
• Maintain precise sales forecasts, competitive intelligence records, and comprehensive customer requirements.
• Ensure customer satisfaction following sales, acting as the bridge between customers and internal teams.
• Advocate for available services such as spare parts, field service, and overall company capabilities.
• Stay informed about product updates and new projects; proactively relay information to customers.
• Keep thorough records and documentation of activities.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with over 3 years of applicable experience, OR a 2-year post-secondary diploma/certificate along with over 7 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in selling labeling/sleeving equipment within the packaging sector is essential; candidates with primary and/or secondary packaging sales experience or a background in engineering or service technician roles will be considered.
• Proven track record of selling to senior executives within Fortune 500 companies.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of automation applications and technologies; capability to interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and AutoCAD viewer.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
• Must reside within the designated territory and close to a major airport — preference for UT, CO, NV, or Central TX; candidates from CA, WA, or OR will also be considered.
• Willingness to travel 50% across a multi-state territory.
