This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Effectively share product expertise by delivering comprehensive training to the Sales Team, Manufacturing Representatives, Integrators, and End-Users.
• Clearly communicate the technology and showcase unique value propositions to both business and technical prospects.
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations and facilitate technical discussions.
• Assist the Sales Team in answering RFPs and in designing, specifying, and quoting systems.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with customers and partners.
• Travel extensively to provide on-site support for integration, troubleshooting, and training.
• Work in collaboration with the Technical Support team to deliver post-sales support to customers.
• Manage assets related to demo equipment.
• Provide close support to Sales teams in meeting their sales objectives.
• Take a proactive approach throughout the sales cycle, helping to identify stakeholders, recognizing potential risks in engagements, and suggesting mitigating strategies.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned.
• Over 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering or Pre-Sales roles within a technology firm.
• In-depth understanding of the video surveillance industry.
• Solid knowledge of networking and system design.
• A self-driven and focused individual with a passion for technology and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent presentation capabilities.
• Possesses robust analytical and troubleshooting expertise.
• Communicates in a friendly and approachable manner, both verbally and in writing.
• Preference will be given to candidates located in the Greater Denver Area.
• Familiarity with Windows troubleshooting tools and techniques is essential.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and IP communication.
• Experience in computer hardware configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment.
• A college degree or technology diploma is preferred.
• Previous experience in the surveillance industry is a plus.
• Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications are preferred.
• Certification in any competitive products is advantageous.
