Sales Engineer, Storage & Analysis, West Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist customers in recognizing the benefits of Cribl’s Storage & Analysis products throughout the entire sales journey.

• Collaborate with a dedicated Product Sales Specialist to create and implement sales strategies, enhance customer interactions, and foster pipeline development across Cribl's new product offerings.

• Work with the wider Field team to establish demos and demo materials, presentations, and other sales tools that align with customer buying and usage trends.

• Showcase the product and respond to customer inquiries during initial sales discussions.

• Conduct sales presentations, share technical insights about Cribl’s products and services, carry out product demonstrations, and manage Proof of Value events.

• Support customers through proof-of-concept initiatives and help ensure successful results.

• Document compelling use cases in blog articles and product documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in logs, metrics, observability, IT operations, or security solutions in a customer-facing capacity.

• Proven track record of successfully selling to both new and existing clients.

• Capability to educate on identifying new and existing opportunities using consultative selling techniques.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, along with 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing position, or a suitable combination of education and experience.

• Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

• Experience in cybersecurity, data analytics, or AI/ML technologies.

• Readiness and ability to travel up to 30%.

• Must reside in the Western Region (Pacific and Mountain Time Zones Preferred).
