This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate technical discovery, demonstrations, design workshops, and proof-of-value initiatives across our Engagement Suite, Meetings Suite, API tools, and advanced configurations.
• Convert customer requirements into clear, value-driven narratives: aligning outcomes with priorities such as SB707, accessibility (WCAG/ADA/Section 508), and open-meeting mandates.
• Take ownership of technical sales materials: solution designs, integration diagrams, responses to security questionnaires, RFP technical submissions, and documentation meant for customers.
• Engage multiple technical stakeholders (IT, security, clerk, AV/streaming) alongside the economic buyer in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Act as the technical liaison from sale to delivery: collaborating with Implementation and Customer Success Managers on complex go-lives, technical health assessments, executive quarterly business review preparations, and managing escalations that could jeopardize renewals or expansions.
• Leverage AI coding tools and agentic resources (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to navigate the PublicInput product, prototype integrations, and generate well-structured specifications and tickets.
• Examine the behavior of customer external systems (agenda management, legislative workflows, AV/streaming, CRM, SSO, ERP, data warehouses) to ensure seamless adaptation or integration.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to define and deliver feasible solutions, while providing structured field observations to inform the product roadmap.
• Create reusable resources: demo flows, configuration guides, technical battlecards, and integration patterns that enhance your impact across the Account Executive team.
• 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical position, with a proven track record in leading discovery, demonstrations, and technical closure activities.
• Demonstrated success in supporting new and expansion SaaS sales, preferably within state, local, or federal government, transit, or other public-sector markets.
• Solid technical foundation: comfortable with production code and contemporary web architectures. Familiarity with our technology stack (ASP.NET, C#, MSSQL, React/JS, Azure) is advantageous; language-agnostic candidates are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in real-time product environments: meeting/conferencing software, AV systems, live streaming, telephony/SIP, WebRTC, SignalR, or similar event-driven architectures.
• Practical expertise with AI coding assistants and agentic tools for exploring codebases, prototyping integrations, and synthesizing information.
• Confidence in representing engineering in customer-facing situations: demonstrations, technical deep-dives, RFPs, security assessments, and escalations.
• Unlimited PTO: take the time necessary to achieve a fulfilling work/life balance.
• Paid Paid Vacation (PPV): receive a $1,000 bonus annually after taking a full week off.
• Health, Dental, Vision: company-subsidized plans covering 100% of medical premiums or up to $800/month for you and your dependents; optional family add-ons available.
• Annual $1,000 HSA contribution, distributed monthly.
• 401(k): pre-tax with a 50% match up to 6% of your base salary.
