This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Identify and pursue new business prospects within the designated region while fostering relationships with current clients.
• Analyze market trends in the specified area and report findings to management for the enhancement of sales strategies.
• Oversee the complete sales process, from lead generation to prospect qualification and deal closure, achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Operations, and Service teams, to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled and issues are resolved.
• Offer technical support to clients, troubleshoot product-related issues, and suggest improvements in materials or machinery.
• Assist the Marketing and Sales team in organizing and participating in trade shows, conferences, and various promotional events.
• Conduct regular visits to customer locations to maintain relationships, address technical challenges, and propose solutions.
• Work closely with Product teams from the parent company to ensure alignment on technical specifications for equipment and proposals.
• Prepare and present comprehensive proposals and presentations based on customer specifications.
• Ensure that all administrative tasks are managed effectively throughout the sales cycle, coordinating with various departments.
• Regularly update the supervisor on sales progress and any challenges encountered.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Strong self-motivation and a proactive approach, complemented by excellent business communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel for overnight business approximately 25% of the time within the US, primarily in the West Coast region, including California, Oregon, and Washington.
• Competence in utilizing CRM systems and generating reports and presentations.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, often requiring coordination across various time zones.
• Flexibility to occasionally work outside of standard business hours.
• Experience in managing workflows and processes across multiple departments.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 2-10 years of experience in sales or technical roles within the machine tool or manufacturing sector.
• Capability to work effectively under pressure and in ambiguous situations.
