This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +8 more states.
• Create and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at meeting or surpassing territory revenue goals.
• Primarily dedicated to driving sales growth for mobile solutions, focusing on acquiring new customers and managing new or expansion projects.
• Identify, qualify, and actively seek new business opportunities across the industrial, environmental, and manufacturing sectors.
• Act as the technical authority on Desotec’s mobile filtration systems, offering consultative support and recommendations for engineered solutions.
• Perform on-site customer visits, conduct system assessments, and deliver technical presentations.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from identifying opportunities to developing proposals, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Maintain precise CRM records, forecasts, and activity reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitive technologies pertinent to activated carbon and mobile filtration systems.
• Represent Desotec at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or a related field) is preferred; relevant technical experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional sales experience in areas such as water/wastewater processing, hydrocarbon processing, air/gas processing, or emissions control.
• At least 3 years of technical experience (engineering, project management, applications) with a strong understanding of filtration processes, system design, and industrial applications.
• Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales objectives.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting and manage travel within the territory.
