This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +9 more states.
• Support the Global Sales Team by addressing their technical inquiries and managing an inbound question queue.
• Collaborate on technical trials with Samsara’s Sales Engineering team to demonstrate the value of a Samsara solution for potential clients.
• Develop software scripting solutions and integrations as needed to facilitate technical proof of concepts.
• Provide internal Q&A support for Samsara account teams seeking technical assistance on behalf of their clients.
• Create and manage digital content aimed at enhancing product knowledge, adoption, hardware installation, and software configuration.
• Oversee and update the internal hardware and software lab infrastructure, including both office and remote kits.
• Organize and engage in new product testing initiatives.
• Collect and emphasize industry-specific customer use cases for Samsara solutions in collaboration with technical sales teams.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure the success of prospects (including RFP responses, product feature request management, customer support triaging, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in a pre-sales or support role with customers.
• Capability to articulate complex technical concepts to audiences without technical backgrounds.
• Fundamental understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Proficient in one or more of the following areas: cloud software, networking, automation, and control systems.
• Experience with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is an advantage.
• Bilingual in French.
