This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the sales team to comprehend client needs and provide customized demonstrations of PIPE FLOW software solutions.
• Facilitate value-oriented discovery sessions to identify customer challenges, quantify business impacts, and align solutions with measurable results.
• Create and present value-focused proposals that highlight ROI, efficiency improvements, and compliance advantages.
• Offer technical expertise throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution configurations.
• Establish customer relationships as a trusted advisor on best practices in fluid flow modeling and system design.
• Work together with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure consistency and smooth onboarding.
• Recognize automation possibilities and emerging trends with an AI-forward mindset.
• Remain updated on advancements in fluid dynamics, piping system software, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and document sales engineering activities in CRM for forecasting and pipeline management.
• Participate in conferences, trade shows, and industry events as necessary to represent PIPE FLOW and gather market insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales, or Pre-Sales position, or 3+ years of hands-on experience using PIPE FLOW, fluid dynamics, or similar piping system design software.
• In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics, hydraulic modeling, and principles of piping system design.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct technical product demonstrations and explain complex solutions in a business-centric manner.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and standard business productivity applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings, training, and industry events.
• Experience in selling or supporting piping system design, fluid flow analysis tools, or engineering simulation software.
• Familiarity with value-based selling strategies and consultative sales methodologies.
• Understanding of manufacturing plant design, process engineering, or energy systems.
• Previous experience in an international or mid-market software organization in a pre-sales role.
• Capability to design and deliver technical presentations tailored for engineering leadership and decision-makers.
• Knowledge of AI-driven engineering solutions and automation trends within process industries.
• Qualified candidates must complete a 30-minute online pre-employment assessment.
• U.S.-based employees adhere to standard working hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time (ET).
• Annual variable commission potential of $30,000.
