This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in evaluating sales leads from a technical perspective, comprehending customer needs, and delivering pertinent technical information.
• Act as the primary technical advisor during sales discussions, responding to customer questions, and educating them about product features, specifications, functionalities, and integration options.
• Showcase expertise in networking applications and solutions, emphasizing the value proposition of Fortinet products and services.
• Serve as the principal technical liaison for assigned accounts, actively collaborating with the technical support team and engineering to swiftly address and resolve customer technical challenges.
• Provide post-sales training and ongoing support to clients, ensuring they can effectively leverage Fortinet solutions.
• Travel across the territory to fulfill business requirements.
• 5 – 8 years of experience in technical or pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• 5 – 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration, demonstrating a thorough understanding of networking technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES technologies and protocols.
• Proven sales professional with a comprehensive understanding of the technology business landscape.
• Familiarity with encryption and authentication technologies.
• Excellent presentation skills, facilitating effective communication with a wide range of audiences.
