Sales Engineer – Civils and Drainage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Recognize sales opportunities at an early stage and guide them through to quotation and conversion.

• Analyze technical drawings and create precise material take-offs.

• Generate competitive and accurate quotations to secure and maintain business.

• Offer expert product and technical assistance throughout the sales process.

• Actively generate and cultivate project opportunities within the C&D channel.

• Utilize strong commercial insight to maximize sales and profitability.

• Collaborate with various teams to secure, protect, and successfully execute projects.

• Effectively manage multiple opportunities, ensuring outstanding customer service and follow-up.

• Integrate technical knowledge with a sales-oriented approach to meet growth objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong capability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications is crucial.

• Prior experience as an Estimator is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated success in a proactive, team-oriented sales environment (Sales experience in heavy goods manufacturing/construction/civils and drainage is highly preferred).

• Confident in generating and converting opportunities through outbound activities.

• Commercial acumen with the ability to recognize value-engineered solutions.

• Excellent communication skills with customers and internal teams.

• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Customer-centric, possessing strong problem-solving and resolution skills.

• Comfortable working towards targets and planning activities to achieve results.

• Accurate and disciplined use of CRM systems at the project level.

• Good understanding of competitors, products, and market trends.
