This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Cultivate, maintain, and enhance long-lasting relationships with clients in the designated region to promote customer retention, satisfaction, and revenue enhancement.
• Discover, evaluate, and pursue new business prospects within the assigned area, including aftermarket services, repairs, upgrades, parts, service agreements, and technical solutions.
• Act as the primary commercial contact for clients, assisting in assessing their needs and recommending suitable products, services, and solutions.
• Oversee regional sales activities, encompassing prospecting, customer visits, opportunity development, quote follow-up, and management of the sales pipeline.
• Perform regular site visits to customers to comprehend installed equipment, operating conditions, service requirements, and possible growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with proposal managers, operations, engineering, product management, and field service teams to create precise, competitive, and customer-oriented proposals.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Technical Sales, or a related discipline is preferred; an equivalent blend of education and relevant experience may be taken into account.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, business development, account management, field service, applications engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience in selling or supporting aftermarket services, repairs, maintenance, upgrades, spare parts, service agreements, or technical solutions within an industrial, manufacturing, energy, LNG, industrial gas, or rotating equipment context is preferred.
• Proficient understanding of CRM systems, sales forecasting, opportunity tracking, and customer account management is required; experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical and commercial information clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
