This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Drive growth within the territory by delivering advanced level technical support, encompassing on-site assistance, telephone support, product quality, performance, and issue resolution.
• Offer training and technical instruction either in-person or virtually to enhance the capabilities of the distribution sales and service organization.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support (both telephone and on-site as needed) to AWTX Distributors, serving as the primary escalation contact for advanced product assistance.
• Facilitate the resolution of complaints related to equipment and service performance.
• Innovatively develop proactive solutions and ideas to enhance sales growth in the territory.
• Assist in the implementation of product upgrade and retrofit initiatives.
• Deliver the necessary level of support for product rollouts, introductions, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Collaborate with the AWTX training team by providing feedback to aid in the development of future documentation and materials.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with AWTX Platinum Distributors' service organizations.
• Oversee territory sales and financial reporting, with the capacity to analyze financial reports to create territory sales strategies.
• Submit regular regional sales outlook reports.
• Convey complex technical concepts in a manner that is easily understandable to non-technical trainees.
• Manage travel and entertainment budgets as necessary to drive sales growth within the assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in Technical Support, Engineering, and/or QA.
• Strong aptitude in Mechanical, Electrical, and Software troubleshooting skills.
• Must exhibit a proactive approach and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Pivot, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, maintain composure in stressful situations, and modify plans to accommodate evolving needs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently in public settings.
• Experience in business plan and sales strategy formulation.
• Capable of delivering product and sales presentations to both individuals and large groups.
• Skilled in conducting basic technical training seminars on electronic products.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to foster trust and rapport with the field service team, business units, and sales teams.
